Tesla has always been innovative in the electric car business, and their cars have
always been amazing, but the one con is that their cars are way too expensive.
Thankfully when Tesla introduced the Model 3 in mid 2017 it immediately became a hit
selling over 120000 units as of 2019. In fact, it has become so popular that it has
passed its big brother the Model S as the most popular selling car of all time.

Options
As before, the car is available in 5 colors: solid black, midnight silver metallic, deep blue
metallic, pearl white multi-coat, and red multi-coat. Every other color besides black will
cost extra anywhere from $1500-$2500 more! The car comes with 18” aerodynamic
aluminum wheels, but on every model except the performance variant you can get 19”
sport wheels for $1500. The black and white interior options are available for $1000 for
every variant besides the standard range model which you will have to deal with the
standard all black interior. The most important option for many people is the inclusion of
autopilot for $3000 and the full self driving capability for $5000. The technology right
now is capable to drive itself on clear highways, auto park, and summon your car to
you. Tesla is promising later this year to have the system automatically recognize and
respond to traffic lights and stop signs to where the car will become self driving on city
streets. With this Tesla is leading the way into making their cars and other cars level 5
autonomous revolutionizing transportation.
At this point the only cons to electric cars at this point is that the range isn’t great for
road trips and the price is too high. But, Tesla is fixing this too by lowering the cost of
their battery production and introducing the budget Model S, the Model 3. If this article
has gotten you excited about what Tesla’s newest car has to offer and you have the
money to pay for it then check out their website to learn more.
